When I host auditions, it's so hard because there's just so much talent to choose from. So, I know somebody in Lake Charles, Lafayette, or Beaumont got a shot at being on a national stage and walking away with that bread
We met Sheryl Underwood over 20 years ago and I booked several shows with her. About 17 years ago, I booked her for my hometown of Lake Charles and we were excited about it. Well, unfortunately Sheryl got really sick requiring surgery and her recovery time fell during our scheduled show. I totally understood and was prepared to cancel, but don't you know she hopped her sick self on that plane and came down to Lake Charles and killed it. So, since she had so much love for us, let's give her that love back.
